City Year’s Strategy and Growth department is seeking a highly talented, energetic, and self-directed intern who has demonstrated interest in education, nonprofit management and/or social entrepreneurship. This experience will offer the opportunity to learn about the various aspects of strategic growth functions in a high performing education focused nonprofit organization. The intern will work at City Year’s National Headquarters in Boston to support a variety of special projects of the Strategy and Growth Department within the areas of New Site Development and Strategic Management and Innovation. Interns will join a professional, talented, and diverse staff working on projects that are essential to helping City Year achieve its organizational goals which offers opportunities for interns to develop professional skills while supporting the organization’s Long Term Impact Strategy. Through purposeful, authentic, and meaningful projects and tasks, the interns at City Year gain relevant professional skills and deepen their understanding of education policy and the role of the nonprofit sector in education reform.
