By Stephonie Rodgers, City Year Baton Rouge and City Year New York alumna
Thank you so much for being the best Team Leader that an AmeriCorps member could ask for. Everyday you came to service with a bright attitude and a voluminous smile! Even on your bad days, you held strong to optimism and positivity. Thank you for always making our students feel as though they were in a safe space to express themselves and share ideas. You are truly one of the most genuine people that I’ve ever met in my entire life! I am so proud of you for being so strong and always working to better yourself. I wish you the best on all of your LACY (Leadership After City Year) plans! I know you’ll be the best at anything you put your mind to. Remember to take care of yourself and to always believe in who you are. You are a true inspiration and the best City Year Team Leader a team could ever ask for!
The AmeriCorps member who loves you the most,
