Ripples of Hope

City Year Detroit returned to the historic Fillmore Detroit to celebrate the service of 71 young idealist City Year Corps Members at Ripples of Hope 2014.  Led for a second year by Event Co-Chairs Joe Anglieri of Compuware and Mark Davidoff of Deloitte, Ripples of Hope shared the experiences of our corps as a whole – guests heard from 14 corps members who shared their most personal moments of impact.

The event was capped off with the presentation of the Idealist in Action award to Detroit’s Mayor, Mike Duggan.  Mayor Duggan became an honorary corps member with his own Red Jacket, and shared some inspriational remarks with our corps and everyone in attendance.

Thanks to our sponsors, most notably Bain Capital, DTE Foundation and Compuware, and our donor community, City Year Detroit raised over $323,000.  Ripples of Hope
